Elena grew up a crafty and inventive child in the Midwest who hated organized sports. Nothing could compare to the joys of starting an at home cheesecake business, building boats from discarded box springs, and making custom hats, until Elena found circus in 2016. With a brief college hiatus to study Sign Language Interpreting, Elena has made circus  the main focus of their life. 

Elena attended NECCA’s ProTrack Program where they specialized in Multi-cordes, Cyr wheel, and Partner Acrobatics. Circus has allowed them to combine their smorgasbord of interests and talents into one arena. Crafting costumes, working with their hands, exploring physical linguistic parameters, collaborating and creating with others, thinking up an image and attempting to make it reality…Elena loves all of it.
